National Anthem

Every time I turn my iPod on, it is a must for me to listen to Lana Del Rey.  Her music has just a great amount of symbolism in it.  National Anthem is my favorite and I mean favorite song of hers.  Why?  Well because the video is amazingly done with history.  Everyone who watches it should know it goes back to when President John F. Kennedy was America’s leader and his assassination. The National Anthem also shows the story of Marilyn Monroe and how she had the honor of singing “Happy Birthday Mr. President.”

            I also love the way she dresses in the video. She uses the vintage look to show the beauty of her music along with history.  She portrays Mrs. Kennedy by the dress she wears. I just love how she uses a color man to represent President Kennedy and how that relates to the civil rights. Oh I just love history! The beat is amazingly beautiful and her gorgeous voice makes it intense for you to stop what you are doing and think about Kennedy’s assassination. Her music makes my life worth it! I just do not know how to go a day without listening to this special song. I love it, it brings me joy and overall it makes me appreciate history and America. <3

Lana Del Rey

I simply love Lana del Rey music because it's a mixture of instruments among with emotional lyrics. I enjoy every bit of it, especially because she is not so well known , not too mainstream , her music represents her for who she is. Lana is the type of artist that does not care not mind what others have to say about her. She is open minded and does not judge any one by their sexual preference , she actually supports them.
Her music is the first thing I play every morning. It just, I don't know how to explain it , but it just get me thinking of the deep story begin it. My favorite song of hers' is "National Anthem" , the video is spectacular! I love how it portrays the image of president Kennedy and her wife among with Marylyn Monroe.

"A Breath of Life"

I have always admired how beautiful music is, especially when classic instruments are used within the beat or notes. It is such a blessing to be able to wake up to every morning, and to hear the sound of life, the sounds of music. Sometimes music is what someone really needs to feel better or just to express what they are feeling inside them. The notes are amazing and with every note there is in this song, a beautiful elegant sound comes alive. “A breath of life”, has such great usage of these classical instruments and modern ones too. It brings a great scenario to my head every time I play it.

 The vibrations that produce those sounds into my ears as I patiently listen to them, they fulfill me with it.  Every bit of it brings my soul in touch with all the elements we have. My soul feels free, it feels alive, and it feels the freedom that comes along with every piece of it. Life is a breath of life! A breath of life comes with a beat, and music is the medicine we all need. This song is just great and beautifully made.
